Sam is a 45 years old man. He is married for 7 years without getting a baby. This is not the problem of Sam alone, 13 percent of American couples do not get pregnant within first year of trying.
Causes of reduced fertility
A new study was conducted among 456 men who were not taking contraceptives and who have committed relationships. The researchers studied physical work, hypertension and medicaitons among other factors.
Men with hard physical work has reduced fertility
According to the researchers 13 % of men with hard physical jobs had reduced sperm count compared to 6 percent of the other group.
Hypertension lowers the manfertility
The researchers also found that men with hypertension hsd low sperm count . It's not knwon wether this is due to the medicaions or the disease itself.
Multiple Medications also affect fertility
The researchers also found that taking multiple medications will also reduce the sperm
